Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 1/2 cup pine nuts
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- greek yogurt
- Brown lamb in a large sauce pan, season with salt and pepper
- drain excess grease
- deglaze pan with broth
- add seasonings
- add rice and pine nuts
- cover and cook on low until liquid absorbed and rice cooked, about 20 minutes
- serve on a plate spread with greek yogurt
